Welcome to Kathmandu City! Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you’ll be warmly welcomed by one of our representatives at the airport. He will then escort you to your hotel located at the heart of the city. You’ll meet your trek guide and discuss the itinerary in detail. In the evening, you can choose to go out to shop for any needed gear or equipment.

After having an early breakfast at the hotel, you’ll embark on a road journey to the west of Kathmandu. The ride lasting almost 6hr will take you through Trishuli Highway towards Pokhara. A touristic city, Pokhara lies approximately 200km west to Kathmandu City. At Pokhara, you’ll be welcomed with the beautiful sight of Annapurna I and Machhapuchhre at a distance. You’ll be escorted to your hotel.

After a hearty meal at the hotel, you’ll embark on a scenic road journey towards Nayapul. Almost 2hr from Pokhara, Nayapul remains the gateway to Annapurna Conservation Area. After the brief stop at Nayapul, you’ll gradually begin trekking through the lushly forested trail towards Tikhedunga.

Leaving Tikhedunga, you will walk past Ulleri to arrive at Banthanti. At Ulleri, you’ll begin climbing the 3200 stone-steps that reach until Ghorepani. From the Magar village of Banthanti, you can catch the spectacular views of Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna massif. A brief stop at Nangethanti will offer a great time to have lunch while enjoying the scenic sight of the surrounding valley. A short hike from Nangethanti will bring you to Ghorepani village. Ghorepani is the largest village in the entire region. The place is mostly inhabited by Gurung tribe. You can rest for the day while enjoying the beautiful sight of Annapurna and Nilgiri mountains at a distance.

An early morning hike to the east of Ghorepani will bring you to Poon Hill. Located almost 1hr away, you’ll hike through the forested path and reach the local watchtower at Poon Hill that offers the most vibrant and beautiful sight of the surrounding. You will enjoy the beautiful sunrise along with the majestic vistas of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Himalchuli, and Dhaulagiri peaks. Afterward, you’ll head back to Ghorepani for breakfast and then begin heading towards Tadapani village through the lush rhododendron forests.

The trail spanning Tadapani to Jhinu Danda is between five and seven hours. Leaving Tadapani, you’ll begin trekking downhill for about an hour until you climb the ridge towards Chhomrong village before climbing down the stone steps that lead directly to Jhinu Danda. Upon reaching, you can choose to take a relaxing bath in the natural hot spring at Jhinu.

Leaving Jhinu, you’ll begin along the Modi Khola towards Kimbu. The trail starts rising and heads towards Landruk. You’ll continue along the path and walk past Deurali and Tolkha villages to reach Pothana. A small settlement at Pothana is mostly inhabited by Gurung and Magar tribes. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre peaks from the village

Leaving Pothana, you’ll begin trekking towards Dhampus village. The trail goes past the heavily forested trail and tiny Gurung settlements. From Dhampus, you’ll walk a short distance downhill to reach Phedi. Also known as Dhampus Phedi, the village remains a popular hiking destination for most tourists. From here, you’ll catch a commute back to Pokhara. Once at Pokhara, you’ll be escorted back to your hotel.

On the final day of the trek today, we make our way back to the capital city following the pleasant hilly landscapes through the winding bends of Prithivi Highway. Accompanied by the stunning Trishuli River en route, the journey passes through picturesque town and vibrant hamlets to ultimately reach Kathmandu. Making our way directly to the hotel, we bring the journey to a close before enjoying a lovely farewell dinner.

Bidding adieu to Kathmandu, you’ll leave for home. We’ll drive you towards Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 2 hours early so as to avoid any traffic delays or hassles, which are common during office hours in Kathmandu.
